Description
The new generation of Vaillant eloBLOCK electric central heating units offers a modern way of heating flats and houses via heat emitters (radiators, underfloor heating, fan coil units and the like). These units operate fully automatically and almost silently. They come fully equipped with all operating and safety components. Sequential switching of the integrated heating elements prevents unwanted surges in the electrical grid when the unit is switched on/off. As they run on electricity, these units are completely environmentally friendly, need no chimney and can be installed even in the smallest spaces, since they do not use air for combustion. Compared with the previous generation, the new generation has an electronic board with eBUS communication, so it can now be combined with all eBUS room thermostats or weather-compensating controllers, which run the heating system according to the outdoor temperature (weather compensation). eBUS communication also makes it easier to integrate the new eloBLOCK generation into complex heating systems as a backup or supplementary heat source.
The units require a three-phase connection, except for the 6 and 9 kW models, which can be connected to a single-phase supply with an appropriate electrical cable cross-section.
