PROTHERM d.o.o. Laktaši is our production-oriented daughter company. Primary product range includes heating products. Manufacturing tradition is more than 110 years long — it was founded in 1907 in Kostajnica and started production of agricultural tools. In the 1970s the factory introduced boilers for central heating into its production range. In 2004 TERMO KLIMA d.o.o. purchased the company through the privatisation process. The parent company carried out significant reorganisation, investment and modernisation of the old factory and, by founding PROTHERM d.o.o., the focus for the new company became production of solid-fuel and pellet boilers, stoves and fireplaces, along with a wide range of services in steel sheet and pipe processing and the fabrication of metal structures.
Today, PROTHERM d.o.o. is a modern production facility which uses the newest metal works technologies with a high level of automation and robotisation of the production process. Production today takes place exclusively at the facilities in Laktaši, primarily because of how well equipped they are, but also for administrative and logistical reasons and the availability of skilled labour. More than 80% of total production is exported, mainly to European Union countries. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
